Meaning:

We have taken the shelter at the feet of Sri Guru Vaishnav. When one performs his duties with purity of mind the desires for material things reduce.

We derive purity of mind just by the grace of a Sathguru. Only a Sathguru has the power of removing the dirt in our mind. So all we have to do is just surrender our mind at the Sathguru’s feet to derive purity.

Meaning:

In these regards we have committed sins for last many births, these mistakes, these self-destruction cannot be cleared without praying to you.

Only by praying to a Sathguru this mind can be cleared. Only a Sathguru is capable of vanishing our past sins. Without a Sathguru, this life to which we ourselves are enemy at times will be destructed. Hence it’s only a Sathguru who is aware of all these things and capable of removing it.

Meaning:

We have drowned our selves; we have suffered in the past, now we have got you. By getting your blessings we don’t have to suffer any more.

By attaining a Sathguru, all our past sins get destroyed. The sufferings of our past are completely surrendered at the lotus feet of a Sathguru. Once we surrender at His lotus feet, He showers His grace in such a way that we wont have sufferings throughout our lives.

Meaning:

Dear Lord, we have surrendered to your feet please save us, uplift us. Your food is full of Amrit; Hay Radhamohan please bless us with your prasada.

If we surrender at the Lotus feet of a Sathguru who is more superior to God, He will uplift us from all sorts of sufferings and sorrows. He is full of divine power. The naama, which He gives, is full of amrit; hence only a Sathguru can bless us with the prasada of a peaceful life filled with eternal happiness and divine bliss.

  ACHYUTHA PRIYAA

short stories to regain your faith

Radhekrishna! ! Are you excited to know the experience of the young boy?

The young boy had an unconditional blind faith in Bagawan Krishna. He was sure that Bagawan Krishna would fulfill all his wishes. But he was not lazy or sitting idle. He tried from his part, this is bhakthi. Bhakthi is not running away from our duties but doing it more effectively. Even some have notion that if one is engrossed totally in bhakthi he will become a sanyasi. But this is not true! If sanyasam is the only right dharma then Bagawan Krishna should have created only males or only females. There would have been no need of marriage.

Even being in family one can do bhakthi. This is what many of our great bhakthas like Jayadevar, Padhmavathy had proved it. Even today there are many bhakthas who lead a family life in India. The family, which does bhagawadh bhakthi, is the only ones experiencing eternal happiness.

Bhakthi is for doing our karma i.e. duties more sincerely. But everyone lacks this sincerity. Everyone are doing their respective duties but the fruit of these duties i.e. happiness is not attained by them. This is because they don’t do their duties with true devotion. Everyone does their duty either for themselves or for their family but no one does the duty for Bagawan Krishna.

Hinduism does not ask anyone to change their life styles but the only thing it asks to change is the mental attitude. This is the strength of Hinduism. If one does so he can experience life in a more beautiful manner. But the thing is no one is ready to change their mental attitude and this is the root cause of all problems. ‘My Bagawan is with me! He will never let me down and whatever karma I do will be dedicated to Him!’ This is the change required in the mental attitude.

kaayEna VaachA manasEndhriyairvA
bhudhyAthmanA vaa prakruthE: svabhAvAth
karOmi yadhyath SAKALAM parasmai
KRISHNAAYETHI SAMARPAYAAMI

O Lord Krishna! I offer all that which I have done,
through thought, word and body (deed),
consciously or unconsciously,
by force of habit, or pull of maya and karma.
Kindly forgive me and protect me.

‘I am doing this for money, for her, for him etc' all these things makes us get upset and confused. But we have to do all our karmas only for Bagawan Krishna. If we do so our duties turns out to be offering to Bagawan Krishna. Life is very very very comfortable. We are the only ones who try hard to make our life complicated. This is the only truth. If we do our duties sincerely for Bagawan Krishna then we ourselves can feel a change towards life.

The young boy had this faith in Bagawan Krishna that ‘he is always there to protect me. I cannot go in the wrong way. I would definitely be on a right path.’ And thus he does all his duties sincerely for Bagawan Krishna by chanting His naama. Naamasankeerthanam- the only good thing that we can do for our aathma.  If we look into life from cradle to grave we have to live for others. But for our self we need some kind of happiness. Though we stay in a family together everyone’s happiness and peace of mind is different. There is no satisfaction in our life because we have not given what the aathma desires for. If one is having meal just by seeing it our hunger wont get satisfied. We have to consume our share of food our self then only our hunger will be satisfied. Just like that the duty pertaining to our aathma is naamasankeerthanam.

Its so simple we can say it anywhere, anyway and anytime. Be it while sitting, standing or lying we can chant. For naamasankeerthana it is not important where we are and what we are doing only one thing, which matters the most, is our mind. We just need a desire to chant. We can chant Krishna Krishna Krishna in our heart continuously.

In this way the young boy was fully engrossed in naamasankeerthanam. He was very sincere and good. Everyone praised him for his virtues then too he considered it as Bagawan Krishna’s grace. Human mentality is such that if the world praises then we develop self-pride and if the same world curses us we feel hurt and nowhere. Whatever may come our way we must surrender it at the lotus feet of Bagawan Krishna by praying “Sarvam Krishnaarpnam”. Once we offer it to Bagawan Krishna be it praise or curse we cannot be related to it. Thus we attain eternal happiness.

The young boy did his duties right from morning till night sincerely for Bagawan Krishna. The purpose of work, the work itself and the fruit, everything is Bagawan Krishna. Once the young boy’s father became seriously ill. At that time the boy called for a doctor in his village. The doctor came, examined him and said to the youngster “ it is very difficult to save your father”. But the youngster felt that his father would survive. This is the power of chanting and bhagawadh bhakthi; what should we talk, how, in what tone, to whom etc. Even if the words are correct and the tone goes wrong and the meaning would be different. But the youngster had unconditional faith that he would save his father by Bagawan Krishna’s grace.

How he saved his father? How did he realize Bagawan Krishna’s grace? Keep waiting. Radhekrishna Radhekrishna ……

HRUDHAYAANJALI

the power of divine grace

Radhekrishna ! ! ! This issue is very special for us. Just by the grace of Shree Poojya Shree Shree Amma and Mahan Brahma Shri Gopalavallidasar KrishnavedhaM has come up to this level today! Krishnavedham, the E-magazine is very precious for everyone especially for the youngsters. This is a journey where we all have collectively understood the real essence of life. KrishnavedhaM is not just another e-magazine; it’s a phase in our life wherein we have matured not just mentally but spiritually too.

We came together from different pathways, however KrishnavedhaM has been a crossroad for us bringing us closer to spread spirituality amongst the youngsters of today who have been completely misguided and misrepresented. Mahan Brahma Shri Gopalavallidasar encouraged HIS sishyaas to create a spiritual revolution through the internet.

KrishnavedhaM is an e-magazine portraying the experiences and the life of youngsters. Our journey for KrishnavedhaM started from July 2004. Mahan Brahma Shri Gopalavallidasar came to Mumbai on July 5th 2004 and He was very keen to publish KrishnavedhaM by 10th of July. With such a short duration we found it difficult to design the site and prepare its contents. We had to decide the names of the topics. Eventually Guruji decided the names of the topics, which came out very aptly. With little efforts and lots of grace we were able to publish our first issue.

To star with we didn’t have any knowledge of publishing a website. So we used a wizard to bring our first issue. From the second issue we started using visual editor, which gave us an opportunity to design our site more creatively. As we proceeded with our issue we learnt new things and each issue turned out to be better comparing the previous one. KrishnavedhaM develops a new thirst within us every time to do better than the past issues.

One would think about KrishnavedhaM is we youngsters work as a team. Everyone was assigned some work thus it ensured all of us contributed in some way to KrishnavedhaM. We used to exchange our opinions, views and clarify our doubts; thus would write an article. It would have not been possible without our Guruji Mahan Brahma Shri Gopalavallidasar’s grace to write those articles. Our issue is the reflection of what we youingsters have learnt by listening to the sathsang of Mahan Brahma Shri Gopalavallidasar.

We had to bring out our issue on 10th of every month. This was a commitment in itself. Sometimes our articles weren’t ready or the designs weren’t decided or we would have not received approval for our articles. To add to this at times we had to face technical problems like the server going down etc. But even in these situations we never lost hope and prayed so that everything would be normal. In spite of all these odds we would bring our issue on 10th just by the grace of Mahan Brahma Shri Gopalavallidasar.

We all sishyaas pray whole-heartedly to our Gurujiamma and Guruji that KrishnavedhaM should continue infinitely.
